The Fifth Hybrid Annual International Conference on Religion, Culture, and Peace Education
#ICNews 🌏✨ On April 23–24, 2026, the Department of Peace Studies, International College, Payap University, in partnership with the Mennonite Central Committee, successfully organized the Fifth Hybrid Annual International Conference on Religion, Culture, and Peace Education at Singtoh Conference Hall, Sirindhorn Learning Resource Center, Payap University, Mae Khao Campus.
🎤 The conference opened with a warm welcome speech by the President of Payap University, Apicha Insuwan, followed by a beautiful Thai traditional dance and an interfaith prayer led by religious representatives from Buddhism, Christianity, Bahá’Ă, Hinduism, and Sikhism 🙏✨
🌍 Over the two-day event, more than 80 participants joined both onsite and online, featuring 44 presentations by scholars and researchers from around the world, including Argentina, Germany, Myanmar, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Poland, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Thailand, the U.S.A., West Africa, and Vietnam.
📚 The conference served as a dynamic academic forum for international scholars to exchange knowledge and engage in meaningful discussions on peace education, interfaith dialogue, human rights, gender issues, and the cultural and religious dimensions of conflict and peacebuilding.
