English for Career Development

Graduates from the Bachelor of Arts program in English for Professional Development will be able to utilize their English language knowledge and skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing effectively for communication purposes, in accordance with academic standards and appropriately within various cultural contexts and professional settings. They will demonstrate analytical and synthesis skills and be able to apply their English language knowledge and skills for lifelong learning and collaborative work.

The revised curriculum of the academic year B.E. 2567 has been approved by the Payap University Board of Trustees on February 17, 2024

both Thai and international, who have completed high school, or its equivalent may apply.

Bachelor of Arts in English for Professional Development is an international program conducted in English at the undergraduate level, consisting of a 4-year curriculum. 

The total credits for the entire curriculum must be no less than 120 credits, divided into the following categories:
     1. General Education Courses: Total 24 credit units.
     2. Major Courses: Not less than 90 credit units.
        2.1 Compulsory Major Courses: 72 credit units.
        2.2 Elective Major Courses: 18 credit units.
     3. Free Elective Courses: Not less than 6 credit units.

Educational Management

1st Year: Listening, speaking, discussion, reading, writing skills, and using technology for English presentations
2nd Year: English for communication, public speaking, analytical and critical reading, essay writing, business English, linguistics, and literature.
3rd Year: Translation, academic writing, English for learning and multicultural understanding, English for language teaching, culture and Englishes, and elective courses in professional, business, and service industry.
4th Year: Advanced elective courses in professional, business, and service industry sectors, English for workplace preparation, and internships.

After program completion, students are expected to be able to,

1. use English language knowledge and listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for communication accurately according to academic principles and appropriately to the context of cultural diversity.

2. use English language knowledge and listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills for professional purposes accurately according to academic principles and appropriately to the professional context.

3. apply English language knowledge and skills for lifelong learning.

4. demonstrate academic and professional ethics and public-minded behavior.

Total expenses

For the entire 4-year course or 8 semesters:

Thai students: 297,550 baht (First semester: 34,750 baht)
International students: 377,550 baht (First semester: 44,750 baht)
