Public Relations Committee of International College, Payap University, Participates in CMIS Thai University International Program Fair

The Public Relations Committee of International College, Payap University, represented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sonporn Sirikhan and Ajarn Aritat Aksornatap, participated in the CMIS Thai University International Program Fair held at Chiang Mai International School (CMIS) on November 2, 2023. The fair was a great opportunity for CMIS students and other students in Chiang Mai to learn about the high-quality educational programs offered by Thai universities, including International College, Payap University.

SEED Replicator Programme, Kick-start your entrepreneurial journey Apply by: 14 October 2023

CSI are delighted to announce that in partnership with Yunus Thailand, SEED and supported by the UNDP and German Government, CSI will be hosting a FREE 2-day SEED Replicator workshop aimed at developing eco-inclusive entrepreneurship. The workshop will take place on Sat/Sun 28/29th October in Chiang Mai (Location TBA) and is open to all students and faculty. Lunch and coffee breaks on both days will be provided.

Some key highlights:

  • Tried and tested by more than 1400 entrepreneurs, the 2-Day SEED Replicator Workshop uses proven methods and solution examples to support eco-inclusive entrepreneurship.
  • The workshop will be delivered in English but if required, some Thai translation will be provided During the event, participants will identify sector-specific market opportunities, explore impact-generating activities and learn about key elements of successful business models.
  • Participants who join will be eligible to apply for a SEED Grant (of 1,000 euros)
    All participants are encouraged to apply but only between 5-10 qualified entrepreneurs will receive the grant depending on clarity of idea and plan to utilize the grant.

The “Life Excellence Award 2023” is presented to Ms. Nang Num Oo, who embodies the five moral principles of Paya Lebar University, which are “Happiness, Purity, Compassion, Sincerity, and Unity.” She has dedicated more than 20 hours to her social service project throughout her fourth year in the International College, PYU. The award aims to encourage students to serve as exemplary role models for youth in the areas of ethics and morality, apply their acquired knowledge for practical purposes, and inspire young people. Congratulations, Ms.Nang Num Oo.

Loi Kra Thong festival at Mae Kha Canal, Chang Khlan Chiang Mai’s Old City to be able to understand local cultural by visiting at the destination and to get hand-on real experience by planning and developing for sustainable tourism by visiting at the destination and students can get hand-on real experience as well.
