Hospitality Industry Management

Designed to meet the needs of a dynamic industry, Hospitality Industry Management offers a core of specialized business and management studies. The course provides a detailed understanding of the unique features and challenges of the international hospitality and tourism industries and prepares for a career at the heart of the world’s largest and fastest-growing industries.

Both Thai and international students can apply:

  • Diploma from a traditional high school (grade 12, M6, Year 13 or the result of an approved equivalency examination) OR the General Educational Development (GED) OR the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) tests)
  • If English is not an applicant’s first language, standardized tests is required.

Bachelor of Business Administration in Hospitality Industry Management program is a four-year curriculum conducted in English language.

Total credits throughout the program at least 120 credits. The curriculum structure program consists of general education courses 24 credits, major courses at least 90 credits which comprise of business core courses 9 credits, major required courses 60 credits and major elective courses 21 credits and lastly free elective courses 6 credits.

Study Plan

Year 1: General Education courses and major required courses.
Year 2: Business core courses and major required courses.
Year 3: Major required courses and major elective courses.
Summer : Internship
Year 4: Choose between Plan A and Plan B in 2nd semester:
     (1) Major Elective Courses
     (2) Co-operative education

1. Define and discuss broad set of business knowledge concerning the fundamentals in the basic areas of hospitality management.

2. Express a willingness to work with service mind.*

3. Interpret a systematic understanding of theoretical and applied aspects of sustainable practices in hospitality industry.

4. Demonstrate how to be an entrepreneur embracing innovation, digital skills and hospitality trends.

5. Use Customer Centric Approach and human resource management to point out how to deal with customers in terms of customer relationship management and service marketing in hospitality.

6. Choose tools, equipment and system or application in order to practice practical skills in hospitality field.

7. Implement theoretical and practical knowledge of hospitality management in order to intern and work in the field.

8. Display a professional commitment to truth and service including ethical code of conduct in the field of global hospitality industry.

9. Collaborate and communicate as part of a team in diverse and multi-cultural working environment.
