วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ร่วมกับ สำนักวิจัยมหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ จัด โครงการบริการวิชาการแก่สังคม ให้แก่กลุ่มสตรีและกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ เทศบาลตำบลฟ้าฮ่าม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ในโครงการ “ดอกไม้กินได้ : จากสวนบ้าน ยกระดับสู่เมนูอาหารเพื่อการท่องเที่ยว” เพื่อฝึกอบรมให้ความรู้และทักษะอาชีพอันจะเป็นการสร้างโอกาสและทางเลือกในการประกอบอาชีพ การใช้เวลาว่างให้เป็นประโยชน์ รวมทั้งสามารถเพิ่มรายได้ให้แก่ครัวเรือนและสามารถพึ่งพาตนเองได้ ซึ่งกิจกรรมประกอบไปด้วย “การบรรยายเรื่อง การท่องเที่ยวเชิงอาหาร Gastronomic Tourism : เมนูสร้างสรรค์ดอกไม้กินได้ โดยอาจารย์ ดร.ชลธิชา รุ่งสาตรา จาก สาขาวิชาการจัดการอุตสาหกรรมการบริการ, กิจกรรมเสริมทักษะฝึกการใช้ภาษาต่างประเทศเพื่อสื่อสารกับนักท่องเที่ยว โดยนักศึกษาจาก สาขาวิชาภาษาจีนธุรกิจ, สาขาวิชาภาษาและวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่น และสาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อการพัฒนาอาชีพ , กิจกรรมสาธิตและฝึกปฏิบัติทำ Spring Roll Flower หนึ่งในเมนูสร้างสรรค์ดอกไม้กินได้ และการแข่งขันการจัดสำรับเมนูสร้างสรรค์ดอกไม้กินได้ Spring Roll Flower ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันพุธที่ 4 ธันวาคม 2567 ณ ชั้น 2 สำนักงานเทศบาลตำบลฟ้าฮ่าม จังหวัดเชียงใหม่
The International College, in collaboration with the Research Office of Payap University, organized an academic service project for women and the elderly in the Fah Ham Subdistrict Municipality, Chiang Mai Province. This initiative, titled "Edible Flowers: From Home Gardens to Culinary Tourism Menus," aims to provide training and skills that create opportunities and career options, encourage the productive use of leisure time, and increase household income to support self-sufficiency. The activities included:
- A lecture on Gastronomic Tourism: Creative Edible Flower Menus by Dr. Chonthicha Rungsatra from the Department of Hospitality Industry Management.
- Skill-building sessions on foreign language communication with tourists, led by students from the Chinese Business Language, Japanese Language and Culture, and English for Career Development programs.
- A demonstration and hands-on training on making Spring Roll Flowers, one of the creative edible flower dishes.
- A competition to prepare a Spring Roll Flower menu.
This event took place on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, on the 2nd floor of the Fah Ham Subdistrict Municipality Office, Chiang Mai Province.
