Payap IC Volunteers Gain Global Experience at Major WCRC Council
From November 12–14, 2025, students from International College (IC) gained invaluable professional and cross-cultural experience by volunteering at the 27th General Council of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) 2025.
The major international collaboration, held at the Empress Hotel Convention Centre, was co-hosted by the WCRC and the Church of Christ in Thailand (CCT). The event drew over 600 representatives from Europe, Africa, North America, Latin America, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific, providing the IC students with a truly unique, real-world service opportunity.
Departments and Supervisory Team
The IC students who participated came from the Hospitality Industry Department, English for Career Development Department, and Information Technology Department.
They were guided by a team of instructors from Hospitality Industry Management: Aj. Premchit Khrurana, Aj. Chanvit Jatuprayoon, Dr. Isaree Baedcharoen, and Dr. Hatairat Viwatronakit.
In addition to their supervisory roles, Aj. Premchit Khrurana and Aj. Lulu Zou, an English Communication instructor, played a key role as the Masters of Ceremonies (MC) for the opening event.
Developing Global Citizens
By participating in this immense global event, the students significantly enhanced their English proficiency and sharpened their cross-cultural skills in a professional, international setting. This initiative perfectly exemplifies Payap University's commitment to developing globally-minded citizens through practical, high-impact learning experiences.
