เมื่อวันพุธที่ 16 ตุลาคม 2567 ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วัลลภา ทรงพระคุณ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการและวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ นำทีมผู้บริหารจากวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ วิทยาลัยดุริยศิลป์ และคณาจารย์จากคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์แมคคอร์มิค เข้าเยี่ยมเยือน Polus International College ณ เมืองเฉินตู มณฑลเสฉวน ประเทศจีน เพื่อหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในหลายหลักสูตร ได้แก่ หลักสูตรปริญญาตรี สาขาวิชาภาษาและวัฒนธรรมญี่ปุ่น หลักสูตรระยะสั้นภาษาอังกฤษ วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ และหลักสูตรพยาบาลศาสตรบัณฑิต คณะพยาบาลศาสตร์แมคคอร์มิค โดยการเยี่ยมเยือนในครั้งนี้ทางมหาวิทยาลัยพายัพได้เชิญ Polus International College เข้าร่วมเป็นสถาบันผู้จัดงานร่วม (Co-host Institute) ในการจัดงานประชุมวิชาการนานาชาติ "The 1st International Conference on Lifespan Innovation (ICLI 2025)" ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นในเดือนมิถุนายน 2568
ทั้งนี้ทั้งสองมหาวิทยาลัยได้ลงนามทำความตกลงร่วมมือร่วมกัน ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2023 และได้สานต่อความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง

“Payap University Expands International Collaborations with Polus International College”
Payap University has strengthened its global academic network through a recent visit to Polus International College in Chengdu, China. A delegation led Assistant Professor Dr. Wallapa Songprakun, the university's Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research, met with Mr. Yipei Liu, Principle of Polus International College on October 16, 2024, to explore potential partnerships in various academic fields.
Key areas of focus included undergraduate programs in Japanese Language and Culture, Short Courses in English language, and nursing. The collaboration aims to provide students with diverse learning opportunities and international exposure.
As a testament to the growing relationship between the two institutions, Payap University extended an invitation to Polus International College to co-host the inaugural International Conference on Lifespan Innovation (ICLI 2025). This prestigious event, scheduled for June 2025, will bring together academics, researchers, and industry professionals to discuss groundbreaking advancements in the field of lifespan innovation.

The warm welcome of Chengdu University for a delegation visit from Payap University on 15 October 2025

On October 15, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Wallapa Songprakun, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Research at Payap University, led a delegation comprising executives from the College of Music, the International College, and faculty members from the McCormick Faculty of Nursing to visit Chengdu University and the School of The College of Chinese & ASEAN Arts in Sichuan Province, China. The purpose of the visit was to engage in discussions about potential academic collaborations across various fields, including the Doctoral Degree in Music (International Program) and the Bachelor’s Degree 3+1 Program in Hotel and Tourism Management (International Program).
During the visit, Payap University extended an invitation to Chengdu University to co-host the "1st International Conference on Lifespan Innovation (ICLI 2025)", scheduled for June 2025. The two universities have maintained a formal academic collaboration agreement since 2021 and have consistently nurtured a strong and productive relationship.

โครงการ “น้ำใจ IC…เราช่วยกัน” (Helping Hand Healing Heart)

วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยพายัพ จัดโครงการ "น้ำใจ IC...เราช่วยกัน" โดยเปิดรับบริจาคเงินและสิ่งของเพื่อช่วยเหลือนักศึกษาและอาจารย์ในคณะที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์น้ำท่วมในจังหวัดเชียงรายเมื่อ 3 สัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ซึ่งมียอดเงินบริจาครวมทั้งสิ้น 6,605 บาท ทั้งนี้ ผศ. ดร. พัชร บุญธีรารักษ์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ ได้เป็นตัวแทนมอบเงินและสิ่งของให้แก่นักศึกษาที่ได้รับผลกระทบดังกล่าว เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 7 ตุลาคม 2567

The International College of Payap University recently launched the "Helping Hand Healing Heart" initiative, aimed at providing support to students and faculty members impacted by the flooding in Chiang Rai province last 3 weeks. A total of 6,605 baht in donations was collected, alongside essential goods. Today, October 7, 2024, Asst. Prof. Dr. Patchara Boonteeraraks, Dean of the International College, delivered the donations to the affected students, demonstrating the college's commitment to community support during challenging times.

The International College of PayapUniversity congratulates Ajarn Aombun Burutpakdee, lecturer in the English for Career Development program, and Yuwarin Lanak, a student from the Linguistics program, for being selected to participate in the project “Shared Experiences and Solutions for Pressing Global Health Challenges in Thailand and Alabama: Building Capacity and Knowledge in the Next Generation of University Students.”

This project is a collaboration between the University of Alabama, Rattana Bundit University, Thammasat University, and Payap University, supported by the U.S. Embassy in Thailand.

It was held on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Seminar Room, Prakassak Building, Payap University (Mae Khao Campus).

Payap University Makes Strides in KODECET Project at University of Jyväskylä

Payap University's KODECET project team recently participated in a pivotal meeting at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. The meeting, a key component of the Erasmus+ KODECET project, highlighted Payap University's commitment to the project's goals and its leadership role as country coordinators.

The Payap University delegation, led by President Aj. Apicha Insuwan, included Aj. Michael Meallem, Aj. Waruth Kaosol, and Dr. Isaree Baedcharoen. Together, they discussed the project's progress, networked with circular economy experts, and focused on developing the frameworks and curriculums for upcoming online training courses. Additionally, the team explored strategies for facilitating credit transfer between participating institutions.

The orientation to welcome Chinese students from Guangxi University of Foreign Languages, P.R. China.

InternationalCollege, in collaboration with Duriyaslip College of Music at Payap University, organized an orientation to welcome Chinese students from Guangxi University of Foreign Languages, P.R. China. These students are part of the cultural exchange program, which allows them to experience Thai culture and life in Thailand (from September to December 2024) during the 2024 academic year. The event was held on Sunday, September 15, 2024, at the Dr. Singto Changtrakul Conference Room, Payap University (Mae Khao Campus).

Welcome new students!
The orientation for new students at Payap University’s International College on August 9, 2024, featured welcome speeches by the Vice President and Dean. Students were introduced to desired characteristics, library services, e-Registration, IT support, student life at the International College, and their instructors. They enjoyed lunch and had an afternoon session with their academic advisors and department instructors. It was truly a valuable day to start their academic journey.
